Steeds of the Gods #3 Beasts of Olympus Lucy Coats Brett Bean Books Reviews

I think it was alright but there were a few errors. In the movie 'Hercules' when he fight the Doris he cuts his head of, right, but then two more would come. So all in all it was a really cool book and I enjoyed reading it a lot.

First off, errors first. The first error is that Thetis and Metis are Titans and not Nerieds. A hydra can't lose all the heads without growing 2 new heads for each one cut off. The middle head is immortal so it will NOT grow the 2 heads. Since it said that Doris got all 9 heads cut off, she should have 17 heads. As I said the middle head is immortal, one head will not grow 2 heads back (read actual books with REAL Greek Mythology stuff). Another thing is that Amphirite is also a Neried and shouldn't be taller, nor older than the others simply because she is the Queen. There is also only 1 Triton; a merman with 2 tails, son of Posiedon and Amphirite, not Gaea, I think. Another thing, Apollo was already born and should be the driver of the Sun Chariot and not Helios. When driving the Sun Chariot, the drive near the Earth's atmosphere and not in the Milky Way. Posieden also has 2 other children with Amphirite. They had Rhode, Triton, and the last one I forgot. There are so many errors. If I listed all of them, I'd be here until I got to sleep. Final one, Helios can't make gateways where the sunlight can reach. He would have to park the Chariot and the sun would have to stop.

OK, enough of the errors. Overall, the book is pretty good. Without the errors, I would put 5 stars.

These books are so great! My son and two daughters love hearing the story together. We read chapters each night before bed time and they can't wait for the next installment!
